Day after day,
year after year,
he sits and waits patiently for his prey
even though it may be to your dismay.
The rock knows that one day it'll be free,
when it turns into sand,
and creates a beach nurtured by the sea,
and those who swim in it.
Free with the movements of the waves and the wind, which blows allowing it to move as if it were alive, because it is.
More alive than you and me,
because it's truly free.
